What a year costs

Lifting plus food tracking, a year at listed US prices
  • Hevy Pro + MacroFactor $95.98
  • Brolic, all in one $99.99
  • Hevy Pro + MyFitnessPal Premium $103.98

Hevy Pro is $23.99 a year, MacroFactor $71.99 and MyFitnessPal Premium $79.99. Hevy also sells Pro for life at $74.99. Brolic’s yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial. Prices vary by country; check your own store before subscribing.

Hevy has no food log, so counting macros next to it means a second app. Neither pairing above tracks TRT or peptide routines. Hevy’s free plan costs nothing, with up to 4 routines, 7 custom exercises and 3 months of workout and statistics history.

Logging your training

Both apps log sets, reps and weight with a rest timer, and Hevy’s rest timer is free. Hevy adds RPE per set, supersets, 26 ready-made programs, a social feed where you follow other athletes, live personal-record notifications, and an Apple Watch and Wear OS app. Its Hevy Trainer, in Pro, builds a program from your goals and suggests when to add weight.

Brolic shows your previous performance as you log each set and alerts you to personal records. Its AI drafts a single workout or a multi-week program, and you edit every set before it starts.

Food and protocols

This is where the two apps differ most. Hevy describes no food diary; it shares your workouts to MyFitnessPal through Apple Health or Health Connect. We found no medication or protocol tracking on Hevy’s pages.

Brolic sets protein-first calorie and macro targets, searches 2 million+ foods, scans barcodes and nutrition labels, and drafts entries from a food photo or a description for you to review. Its Protocols keep GLP-1, TRT and peptide routines you enter yourself, with schedules, reminders and injection-site rotation, on the same day as your food and training.

Switching from Hevy

Hevy exports your workouts as a CSV file from its settings. In Brolic, Share to Brolic turns a routine or program from a spreadsheet, PDF, screenshot or text into one editable draft, so you can rebuild your routines and review them before they are saved.

Brolic: our pick for lifters

Brolic is an iPhone app that keeps workout tracking, food logging, protocols and progress in one place. It suits lifters who also count protein or run a GLP-1, TRT or peptide routine and want one daily view instead of two or three apps.

It is the product at brolic.app, developed by PSG Labs Inc. Brolic is on the App Store for iPhone. The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial, then costs US$99.99 a year, or US$19.99 a month.
